That's right your favourite Canadian pop star Justin Bieber surprised fans last night with an impromptu drive by sing along.

Bieber had just finished recording an interview on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno when he decided to give the waiting crowd a special treat and stopped for a chat.

Pulling up in a big black van Justin first tried to engage the crowd in a bit of small talk but the screams made it impossible for him to be heard.

So instead Justin launched in to a rendition of his new single 'Boyfriend' and was subsequently drowned out by the crowd as they sang along with him.

A rare treat for pop fans and something you hardly ever see from other performers, perhaps they could learn a thing or two from the 18 year old.
